Scott Niebling joined the firm as of-counsel in 2019. Scott has been actively practicing law since 1995, and has significant experience in all aspects of complex civil litigation from the initial pleadings to jury verdict. His practice has been diverse which has enabled him to gain varied experience in a number of areas. He has extensive civil and criminal motion experience, and has also conducted adversary proceedings in Bankruptcy Court for debtors and creditors. He has significant jury trial experience in both criminal and civil cases.
As of-counsel at Koehler Fitzgerald, Scott supports the Out-of-Network Defense practice, handling all aspects of defense of balance bills from the complaint stage to appeals in Oregon and Washington.
Scott views the practice of law as a privilege in the service of others. He is a Chicago native who is licensed to practice law in Oregon and Washington and now makes his home in the beautiful city of Portland, Oregon. He is a well-seasoned journeyman trial attorney with significant experience in finding the best possible solution for people facing the challenges of legal problems.
